CASE 273

Once upon a time there was a nonchalant guy (2-Ralf) holding an Eat n' Park cookie standing in front of a pool hall waiting for three other friends one Friday night, Devil's night, around 4:00 PM.... A soft girl (1-Ashley [your character]) approaches, incapable of seeing Ralf, so naturally he tries to spook her.

Ralf: Hey baby, what's your sign?

Ashley: (her excited hand draws to her anticipating heart, but Ashley recognizes Ralf's voice, and doesn't give him the gratification of hearing her scream. If she had slowed to think about it, she would have realized how his crazy voice alone excites her, and how she was silently falling in love with his crazy antics. ---But she didn't have time to think now; she hardly had time to come up with a quick zinger to keep Ralf from winning the "pun game" again.) My sign's Precede with Caution Ralf!

Ralf: Seriously Ashley? I always figured it was Slippery When Wet.

Ashley: Ewe that's sick.

Ralf: No it isn't. Sick is a relative term.

Ashley: Maybe one of your relatives.

Ralf: Not!! What is sick to one person isn't necessarily sick to another. Like do you want to know what I think is really sick, this cookie.

Ashley: (childishly enthused,) Omigod, it's a smiley face. How could you possibly not like them? They're so cool, and it's blue too. Did you just go to Eat N Park?

Ralf: Nah, I just went to "park" but she said she wasn't that kind of girl, so we decided to just "eat".

Ashley: (disappointed,) only you could be that romantic....

Ralf: Ya well the truth is, (Ralf steps up and triumphantly swings around a pillar,) in a few minutes I ravished that fair creature. (And then he steps down,) Or at least I would have, if she had not, by a timely compliance, prevented me.

Ashley: Struck out huh? Poor baby; you'll live, but the last thing you want to do is be a girl and use food to cheer you up. Maybe you should give that cookie to me.

Ralf: Well that's a sneaky way to get some. I respect sneaky. You can have the whole thing.

Ashley: (realizing she's been caught, coaxing Ashley covers her deception by breaking off a tiny morsel, claiming) I just want a piece. I'm watching my weight.

Ralf: (undoubtedly Ralf falls for it, and thinks once again that there isn't room for a manipulative bone in Ashley petite figure.) Watching your weight? Coincidence?

Ashley: Your watching your weight too?

Ralf: No, I am watching your weight and loving every minute of it.... Here take it all. You're not fat; I don't want it, and don't look, but I think it's smiling at you.

Take the cookie-814.
